Chronology of a Self-Inflicted Wound

This contemporary still life stems from the need to deconstruct the romantic idea of “self-love.” Far from
being a gentle and indulgent process, the work exposes the visceral and often painful nature of confronting oneself. The composition uses a seductive color palette—dominated by the pastel pink of the background and the intense reds of the objects—to draw the viewer’s gaze toward a scene where beauty and aggression coexist in tension.

Chronicle of a “Special” Day

This portrait explores the cognitive dissonance between societal expectations of a birthday and one’s inner emotional reality. The image captures the feeling that the passage of time does not always bring celebration, but sometimes a heavy sense of normality or even melancholy.

Bajo de Guía: A Midsummer Night

This proyect is an assembled magazine and art installation conceived as a “memory box” that captures the nostalgia and seafaring spirit of Sanlúcar de Barrameda, inspired by the poem of the same name. Housed in a wine box typical of the region, the piece brings together handmade interactive objects—such as stone dominoes in a tuna can, a notebook of dried local flora, and old photographs—that engage the viewer without the need for words. Firmly grounded in the principles of eco-design, the project revalues and gives a second life to recycled materials and items found on the beach, creating a sensory and sustainable tribute that intertwines memory, local identity, and respect for the environment.
